A handsome Mario-esque/“Bob-the-Builder” character of their very own, that can reach a much wider, more diverse audience while embodying the hustle and spirit of the Home Depot attitude and D-I-Y philosophy.

Home Depot has a secret: they’ve already got a mascot. Yes, it’s true…They don’t like showing him in the stores, or on their displays, or advertisements, or t-shirts, but he exists. And he’s hideous. Strait out of the 80’s, (and untouched ever since) “Homer” is old, tired and in desperate need of a retirement. Fortunately, Omar is ready for the job! This is the young, energetic mascot HD needs, and a pitchman that can represent the brand with style and ease for decades to come!
